Job Summary:

As a Journeyman Plumber at G&T Plumbing and Heating, you will be responsible for performing basic plumbing installations and repairs. This role is ideal for individuals who have recently completed an apprenticeship program and obtained licensure. You will work under the guidance of master plumbers, contributing to various projects while honing your skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation of Water Lines: Efficiently run and install copper, steel, and PVC pipes for various systems. Responsibilities include cutting, threading, sealing, and bending pipes as necessary.
• Repair and Replacement of Plumbing Fixtures: Manage the repair and replacement of faucets, showerheads, and other fixtures. This includes working with various appliances such as garbage disposals, water softeners, heaters, and dishwashers.
• Troubleshooting: Employ various methods to detect leaks and identify issues with plumbing systems. Provide accurate estimates and communicate effectively with clients regarding repair needs and costs.
• Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of plumbing systems to ensure optimal operation. This includes unclogging drains, replacing worn parts, and adjusting water pressure.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Building Code Knowledge: Proficient understanding of current plumbing codes and regulations.
