Job summary

TIC_Craft is seeking a skilled pipe/installation technician to plan, lay out, install, test and repair piping systems according to plans, specifications and codes. You will read isometrics, fabricate and install piping, align and weld components, and install equipment and supports on industrial sites.

Responsibilities include hydro testing, estimating resources and inspecting work for contract compliance, with safety as a core requirement. Strong communication and tool proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with field experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge and abilities for the position.
• Ability to understand and transmit written and oral instructions clearly.
• Proficient in using electrical, hand, power, and layout tools and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lay out, install, test and repair piping systems per plans and codes.
• Read isometrics, measure, fabricate and install piping efficiently.
• Align, bolt and clamp components for welding.
• Assemble and secure pipes and fittings by welding and threading.
• Install equipment, vessels, skids, pumps, pipe and supports.
• Hydro test piping systems and estimate resources needed.
• Inspect and correct subordinate work for contract compliance.
