Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment as a journey level Pipefitter.
• Apprenticeship or formal education preferred.
• Experience welding carbon and stainless steel.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks in the maintenance department and repair equipment in pulp and paper processes.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Read or sketch blueprints and perform fit ups.
• Operate cutting equipment and welding tools safely.
• Fabricate and assemble piping and tubing per blueprints and specs.
• Select pipe sizes and materials based on job specs and plans.
