Job summary

Qualifications

7+ years of commercial or industrial plumbing experience.
Active State of Michigan Journeyman Plumber license or Journeyman card.
Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing and piping systems in a large-scale industrial facility.
Work with water, drainage, steam, heating, cooling, and industrial process piping systems.
Lay out, fabricate, assemble, and install pipes, valves, fittings, and fixtures.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Test piping systems for leaks and proper operation.
Install and repair plumbing fixtures including sinks, toilets, water heaters, and related equipment.
Perform routine plumbing and pipefitting work independently.
Use a CMMS to document work.
Mentor apprentices as needed.
Follow safety and housekeeping standards.
