TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking an experienced pipe welder to plan, lay out, weld, install and test pipe systems in Greenville, MS. The role requires following plans, specifications and codes with a focus on precision and safety.

Responsibilities include coordinating with field crews, assembling pipe layouts, and operating specialty tools such as air arc gougers and grinders to ensure quality workmanship. Expect outdoor work in varying weather and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong working knowledge for the position.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.
• Proficient with electrical, hand, power, layout and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, diagram and lay-out for pipe welder’s work.
• Coordinate with field labor crew for efficient installations.
• Position the weld set up, fit piping and perform welds with high precision.
• Lay-out and assemble pipes per production standards and specs.
• Make welding repairs and fix substandard welds.
• Assist with Pre-Fabrication layout or installation.
• Assist with rigging of material.
• Operate air arc gouger, grinder, stress-relieving machine and other industry tools.
