Responsibilities include: layout, assembly, installation, and repair of plumbing systems according to specifications and codes. Systems may include pipes, fittings, fixtures, and equipment for heating, cooling, gas, steam, and industrial processing.

Essential Duties:

• Study specifications, plans, and drawings to determine installation sequence.
• Maintain a clean work area, follow safety regulations, and use PPE properly.
• Set up equipment and assist with welding and pipefitting tasks.
• Inspect structures for obstructions and mark pipe passage points.
• Cut openings, install sleeves, and assist with excavation and backfilling.
• Lay out, assemble, and install valves, hangers, and pipe systems using various tools and techniques.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of experience as a Pipefitter Journeyman preferred.
• Qualified to operate machinery like lifts and forklifts.
