Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrates understanding of McCarthy Safety Guidelines and Procedures. Safety is their top priority.
• Has comprehensive knowledge of multiple piping material applications, including Steel/carbon pipe, Copper Pipe, PVC/PCV pipe, Poly Pipe, Stainless Steel pipe, and Aluminum pipe, including piping layout.
• Receives direct supervision and performs technical responsibilities.
• Coordinates own tasks with a specific range of responsibilities under established procedures.
• Contributes to a team under the general supervision of an experienced professional or manager.
• Is a skilled specialist that demonstrates reliable judgment in resolving issues and making recommendations.
• Promotes a positive learning environment by mentoring and directing apprentices.
• Performs testing, inspecting, and recording.
• Maintains all tools and equipment in a serviceable condition.
• Uses materials and other resources conservatively to promote project success and profitability.
• Installs all systems and products per code, specifications, submittals, and contract documents.
• Provides applicable input promptly to maintain current “As-Built” record drawings.
