TIC_Craft is seeking a skilled pipe welder to plan, lay out, weld, install, test and repair pipe and tubular products per plans, specs, codes and industry standards. The role requires precise welding, layout, and coordination with field crews on a construction site.

You will work with electrical, hand, power, layout, and measurement tools in a noisy industrial environment and must pass safety requirements and standard pre-access checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with any relevant field experience.
• Strong working knowledge for the position.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.
• Proficient in the safe and efficient use of tools and measurement devices.

Responsabilités

• Plan, diagram and lay out for pipe welder’s work.
• Coordinate with field labor crew for efficient installations.
• Position the weld setup, fit piping and perform high-precision welds independently.
• Lay out and assemble pipes per production standards and safety codes.
• Make welding repairs and correct substandard welds.
• Assist with Pre-Fabrication layout or installation coordination.
• Assist with rigging of material.
• Operate air arc gouger, grinder and related equipment.
• Estimate sizes, distances, and quantities for work tasks.
• Inspect subordinates' work for contract compliance and correct as needed.
