Job summary

Turner Industries is hiring Journeyman Pipe Fitters for a Lebanon, Indiana project. The role involves laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing and maintaining piping systems for various industrial applications. Per diem is available for qualified candidates, with a schedule that alternates between 50 and 60 hours weekly.

Experience of 4–6 years, with NCCER considered highly preferred, is expected. Must pass post-offer drug screening and safety requirements; OSHA-based PPE usage is

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• 4–6 years of experience in the skill set, varies by mechanic level.
• A-class pipefitters require basic knowledge of field drawings and engineering drawings.
• Must be able to read a tape measure accurately.
• Must know how to use a framing square for pipefitting tasks.
• Capable of using power tools to prepare pipe for cutting, welding, threading and bolting.
• A-class pipefitters must be able to make precise weld connections.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
• Adhere to job-site safety requirements as required by the client.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, fabricate, assemble, install and maintain piping and piping systems, fixtures and equipment.
• Schedule and plan installation to avoid obstructions; ensure work is compliant and checked regularly.
• Install refrigeration and air-conditioning piping, test for leaks and ensure system integrity.
