Qualifications

• Four years of full-time, paid journey-level painting experience.
• Successful completion of a formal painting apprenticeship resulting in journey-level status.

Responsibilities

• Strip, prepare and paint walls and other wood and metal surfaces.
• Blend and match paints.
• Perform finish work using stains, paints, varnishes and lacquers.
• Install drywall, tape and mud walls for painting.
• Clean and store tools and materials.
• Erect scaffolding and work from extension ladders.
• Supervise a small inmate work crew for various jobs.
