Job summary

RiseMe is seeking a Network Specialist - Journeyman to design, implement, maintain, and optimize large-scale network systems. The role focuses on system-level architecture, traffic analysis, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of networking solutions to support critical mission needs.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in network roles with expertise in routing, switching, wireless, and architecture. CCNA, CompTIA Network+, and CCDA certifications are required, and a Top-Secret security

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in network-related roles that include systems design, integration, and troubleshooting.
• Certifications (Required): CCNA, CompTIA Network+, CCDA.
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and systems (routing, switching, wireless, and advanced network architectures).
• Proficient in network traffic analysis, capacity planning methodologies, and troubleshooting tools.
• Experience in system-level design and configuration, with hardware/software platform selection.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and monitoring of information systems operations to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
• Design, build, integrate, and implement advanced network systems (LAN, MAN, WAN).
• Direct and manage the compilation of records and reports related to network operations and maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network performance issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend sustainable solutions.
• Analyze network traffic patterns and develop capacity planning strategies for optimum performance and scalability.
• Monitor and respond to hardware/software issues within technical control facilities to ensure system stability.
• Collaborate with vendor support to resolve outages or degraded performance rapidly.
• Manage end-to-end lifecycle for procurement, setup, testing, installation, and support of networking systems.
• Perform system-level design and configuration activities, including hardware specs, OS, and platform configurations.
• Plan and oversee large-scale networking projects with vendor comparisons, cost analyses, and performance evaluations.
• Lead systems engineering tasks including design, integration, and project implementation for major systems.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews of software products to ensure standards and performance.
