Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Welder - Combination to join our field teams in Texas. You will perform welding and fabrication tasks on industrial equipment, pipes, and structures, ensuring joints meet specifications and safety standards.

Requirements include 3–5 years journeyman welding experience, Weld Test, TWIC and DL certifications, and the ability to work in an industrial environment with PPE. No visa sponsorship is offered.

Qualifications

• Journeyman level welding experience required (3–5 years).
• Certifications: Weld Test, TWIC, and DL.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employer sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Weld or tack weld pieces using spot, electric, or gas welding equipment.
• Unite pipes from torch to tanks and operate valves.
• Preheat work pieces and prepare welding surfaces.
• Inspect joints to ensure they meet specifications and safety standards.
• Assist crane operator to lift large work pieces and maintain safe work areas.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
