Qualifications

• Normally requires over 2–3 years of general shop and electrical experience.
• Knowledge in using hand tools, electrical meter, and testing equipment.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot motor controls, drives, and electronics.
• Ability to interpret electrical prints and schematics.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds and maintain high accuracy.
• Qualified journeyman status is expected.

Responsibilities

• Complete installations, maintenance of electrical lines, repairs, and construction work in the mine.
• Inspect and test electrical lighting, signal, communication and power circuits.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components; follow GMP and FDA guidelines as directed.
• Read blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot and correct problems.
• May assist in training others and perform related duties as directed.
