Morton Salt, Inc. is seeking a Mine Electrician to perform installations, maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems within the mine under supervision. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to protocols, and reliable operation of electrical infrastructure.
The successful candidate will be a qualified journeyman with 2–3 years of electrical experience, capable of working underground in varying conditions, and able to operate forklifts and related equipment as required.

Under the general supervision of the Mine Maintenance Manager and the direct supervision of the Mine Maintenance Foreman, the mine electrician completes installations, maintenance of electrical lines, electrical repairs, and construction work in the mine. Mine Electrician will inspect and test electrical lighting, signal, and communication and power circuits. The electrician will also diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatuses and components, not to exclude other duties as assigned.
Successful bidder must be a qualified journeyman.
