Tradesmen International is immediately hiring a Journeyman Millwright for projects in Noti, OR. This first‑shift role offers $35–$40/hour based on experience and skill.
You will work with seasoned craftsmen focused on safety, productivity, and top‑tier workmanship to advance your career. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing sawmill equipment, reading blueprints and schematics, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting with installations and major maintenance projects
Qualifications
- Journeyman-level millwright experience required.
- Previous sawmill, lumber mill, manufacturing plant, or similar industrial experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Experience with conveyors, bearings, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of preventative maintenance practices.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, and maintain sawmill equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Complete welding, fabrication, cutting, and mechanical repairs as needed.
- Perform rigging and equipment movement using cranes, hoists, forklifts, and other lifting equipment.
