Sofidel America in Lewiston, Idaho, seeks an experienced Journeyman Millwright to join our Maintenance team. You will install, repair, and maintain industrial machinery, troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and read blueprints to support safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

With a minimum of 3 years in a similar role, you will work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced facility, contributing to preventive maintenance and continuous improvement while adhering to safety

Formación

• Completion of a Millwright Apprenticeship or equivalent journeyman- level training and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Millwright or in a similar industrial mechanical maintenance role.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Experience with precision measuring and alignment tools and industrial machinery.
• Welding and pipefitting experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and equipment, including motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, and related components.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, including inspections, lubrication, alignments, component replacement, and equipment overhauls.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and complete repairs to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment drawings, and technical manuals.
• Troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including valves, cylinders, pumps, and compressors.
• Use precision measuring and alignment tools, hand and power tools, hoists, and rigging equipment to safely install, repair, and relocate machinery.
• Perform welding, pipefitting, and other maintenance-related tasks as needed.
• Support equipment installations, shutdowns, maintenance projects, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, and other departments while following all company safety policies and procedures.
