Job summary

IKO Industries Ltd. in Missouri is seeking a Millwright Journeyman to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment at the Bismarck plant.

The role ensures safe operation of granule production machinery and requires reading schematics, performing preventative maintenance, and following MSHA safety standards. The position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and demands five years of maintenance experience, strong welding/fabrication skills, and proficiency with Maximo

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a safe manufacturing environment with intimate knowledge of LOTO procedures or other safety practices.
• Minimum of five years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience welding, fabricating, and installing mechanical equipment.
• Excellent use of hand tools and maintenance equipment.
• Strong knowledge of lubrication, couplings, alignment and wear components.
• Ability to read repair manuals and instructions.
• Learn computer-based maintenance software (Maximo preferred).
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and mentor others.
• Must wear PPE and work in a team; shift work and overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshooting industrial equipment using precise instruments.
• Dismantling and reassembling equipment with hand and power tools.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
• Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and manuals.
• Inspecting remaining useful life of wear components.
• Fabricating repair parts using shop equipment.
• Follow LOTO procedures and safety protocols.
• Utilize Maximo CMMS for work orders and records.
• Ensure compliance with MSHA and safety standards.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and coordinate with teams.
