Job summary

Summit Midstream Corporation is seeking a Mechanic-Journey to maintain and overhaul gathering system compression and cryogenic plants, ensuring reliable operation across our Texas-based sites.

The role requires a HS diploma or equivalent, at least 3 years in energy or mechanical work, strong troubleshooting skills, and strict safety adherence. On-site work includes potential callouts and overtime; relocation within 1 hour of a station is expected where applicable.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years stable work history in energy or mechanical field.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Daily repairs and maintenance of compressor stations with reciprocating gas equipment.
• Complete and maintain required work orders.
• Monitor and adjust equipment to maintain availability and efficiency.
• Perform maintenance on engines, compressors, dehydrators, vapor recovery units, and related components.
• Coordinate with craft personnel to resolve issues and ensure safety.
