Job summary

Foodland Super Market, Ltd in Hawai`i is seeking experienced Meat Cutters for an hourly, part-time position (24+ hours). Evening and weekend availability is strongly preferred, and candidates with open availability will be prioritized for next steps.

Meat Cutters will stock and prepare meat and deli items, weigh and price products, and merchandise the department to maximize freshness and sales. Physical lifting up to 75 lbs is required, and apprenticeship completion is mandatory for

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to frequently lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
Must successfully pass apprentice / training apprentice program.
Must have TB Clearance.
Must comply with all company policies and requirements.

Responsibilities

Ensure meat cases are well-stocked with fresh, high-quality meat and poultry products.
Receive, stock, cut, grind, wrap, weigh, price, and merchandise meat department items.
Order and stock prepackaged deli items and frozen products under the meat department.
Maintain inventory control and product rotation to maximize freshness and minimize waste.
Assist customers with special requests and answer questions about meat products.
