The Save Mart Companies in Watsonville, CA is seeking a Journeyman Meat Cutter to meet daily production needs and ensure quality standards. You will cut and prep meat, package items, and assist with deli products in the meat department.

We require prior meat department experience and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Benefit packages include health, dental, vision, 401K, and paid time off; overtime may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or GED) required.
• Prior Meat Department experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work varied retail hours.
• Knowledge of meat cutting, primal cuts, poultry and related products.
• Follows safety regulations and maintains department cleanliness.

Responsabilités

• Cut, trim, and prepare meat for display and customer orders.
• Weigh, wrap, price, and rotate meat products to maintain freshness.
• Stock and merchandize meat department items and prepackaged deli items.
• Assist with inventory, labeling, and special customer requests.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and proper equipment operation.
