Job summary

The Kinetic Group is seeking a skilled Machinist/Millwright to service and repair production equipment on the shop floor. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, modify and repair machines, and collaborate with engineers and production teams to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Qualified applicants should have a Journeyman-level machinist background, strong blueprint reading, and the ability to operate lathes, milling machines, and welding equipment.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a 4-year apprenticeship and hold Journey Level credentials.
• Equivalent 2-year apprenticeship with relevant coursework may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and operate machine tools to fabricate or repair components.
• Diagnose malfunctions by observing equipment and consult with engineers to resolve issues.
• Move machines or parts using a forklift and follow blueprints and specifications.
• Dismantle, repair, and reassemble parts; test to verify corrections.
• Fabricate fixtures and tooling; verify conformance with measurements.
