Job summary

The Kinetic Group is seeking a skilled Machinist/Millwright to service and repair production equipment on our manufacturing floor. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, modify existing machines, and work with engineers and production teams to ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery.

Strong measurement discipline and tolerance understanding are essential. Candidates must have a 4-year apprenticeship leading to Journey Level Machinist and be prepared to work across shifts,

Qualifications

• Must have completed a 4-year apprenticeship leading to Journey Level Machinist.
• Journey Level papers or equivalent required/validated.
• Ability to read blueprints, sketches and specifications.
• Able to operate basic Machine Shop tools and machinery within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and operate a variety of machine tools to fabricate or repair components.
• Inspect and adjust machinery; diagnose malfunctions; plan corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to resolve issues.
• Dismantle and repair machines; replace parts; test operation.
• Design fixtures, tooling, and parts to meet engineering needs.
• Work with hydraulic systems, pneumatics, and electrical components as needed.
• Lift and move parts weighing at least 50 lbs; work in production floor environment.
• Follow safety protocols; maintain clean, organized workspace.
