Qualifications

• Completion of a federal or state sanctioned lineworker apprenticeship.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid California Class A driving permit required by first day of employment.
• Must have passed a California DMV medical exam by first day of employment.

Responsibilities

• Travel to various job locations within the assigned region.
• Review job work requirements and provide input regarding work for the day.
• Conduct visual inspections of electric poles and enclosures.
• Test, frame, and set poles, climb poles, work in confined spaces.

Skills

Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds

Work in all types of weather conditions

Strong communication skills

Experienced in rubber gloving and hot stick procedures

Education
