Job summary

PacifiCorp in Worland, WY is seeking a Journeyman Lineman to install, maintain and repair transmission and distribution systems, both overhead and underground, using line trucks, aerial booms, and bucket lifts. This onsite role requires a high school diploma or GED, formal apprenticeship, Journeyman Lineman certification or UWUA 127, hot stick training, and a Class A CDL.

Rubber gloving training is provided and may raise pay to a higher rate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman Lineman experience and UWUA 127 qualification/testing.
• Completion of formal apprenticeship training.
• Formal hot stick training and experience.
• Ability to obtain Class A CDL.
• Pre-placement physical capacity screening post-offer.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair transmission and distribution lines, overhead and underground.
• Operate line trucks, bucket lifts, and related equipment; train apprentices.
• Perform live-line or de-energized work with grounding devices.
• Meet physical demands including heavy lifting and climbing.
