Xcel Energy is seeking a Journeyman Lineman or Advanced Step Apprentice to join our Monticello Service Center, MN. The role involves construction, maintenance, and emergency repairs of distribution and transmission systems within our service territory.

The successful candidate must reside within 20 miles of the reporting headquarters, hold a Journeyman certificate or Line School diploma, and be able to climb and work at heights.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Line School diploma or state issued Journeyman certificate for Advanced step.
• State Journeyman certificate and ability to pass skills assessment.

Responsabilités

• Work as part of an electric line crew performing construction, maintenance, and emergency repairs on overhead and underground systems.
• Maintain safety and operate within 20 miles of the reporting HQ in Monticello, MN.
