Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation seeks an experienced Journeyman Lineman in Clearwater, FL to build, maintain, and repair overhead and underground power lines, ensuring safe, reliable electricity delivery. The role requires operating heavy equipment, reading blueprints, and mentoring crew members.

Qualifications include a Journeyman apprenticeship, valid Journeyman certification, and a Class A CDL with a clean record; travel and overtime are expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Journeyman Lineman apprenticeship program.
• Valid Journeyman Lineman certification.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Journeyman Lineman.
• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Experience in overhead and underground line construction, maintenance, and repair.
• Strong safety knowledge and ability to work at heights and in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, and repair overhead and underground lines and equipment.
• Follow safety policies, OSHA regulations and industry standards.
• Operate and maintain bucket trucks, digger derricks and trenchers.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and perform repairs.
• Install and remove poles, transformers, meters and other equipment.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
• Lead and train apprentices and crew members.
• Respond to emergencies and work overtime as needed.
• Keep accurate records of work, materials, and inspections.
