The City of Georgetown, TX is seeking a Journeyman Lineman to perform line construction and maintenance across overhead and underground electric systems. You will operate heavy equipment, install and repair lines, and mentor Apprentice Line Technicians.

On-call duties are part of the role and will rotate among team members. Applicants should have a high school diploma, 8000 hours of training or equivalent, and a City-approved lineman program certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Four years of full-time lineman experience or approved training program.
• Journeyman lineman with 8000 hours of training and city program certification.
• Must complete City training within 12 months.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily line construction for overhead and underground installations.
• Operate equipment and maintain transmission/distribution lines.
• Mentor Apprentice Line Technician trainees.
• Respond to outages and coordinate with customers during repairs.
