Qualifications

• Journey-level knowledge and skills in the electrical lineman trade.
• Experience with 5kV and 25kV distribution systems.
• Valid CDL-A required.
• US Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain Military Base Access Security Clearance.
• On-call rotation availability.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, repair, and maintain transformers, switches, breakers, and switchgear used in distribution at 5kV/25kV/115kV levels.
• Pull, repair, splice, and terminate 5kV and 25kV cables.
• Install and troubleshoot streetlights.
• Troubleshoot using manuals, schematics, and Engineering input.
• Prepare reports detailing tests and maintenance performed.
• Operate GPS tablets for data recording and preventive maintenance.
• Operate cranes, digger trucks, aerial trucks, tensioners, and related equipment.
• Respond to emergency callouts to restore service.
