The Davis H. Elliot Company is seeking a Journeyman Lineman to join our skilled electrical team. Based in Louisville, KY, this field role covers installation, construction, maintenance and repair of overhead electric distribution lines across Kentucky.

Candidates must hold a valid Class A CDL, own tools, and pass background and drug screening. We value 3 years minimum experience, with 4+ years preferred, and a strong understanding of electrical distribution systems.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience required
• 4+ years of experience recommended
• Must pass criminal background check and drug screening
• Valid Class A CDL license and medical card recommended
• Own your own hand tools and have advanced understanding of electrical distribution systems

Responsabilités

• Install, construct, maintain and repair overhead electric distribution lines.
• Perform tasks as Journeyman Lineman under Louisville, KY supervision with field work across KY.

Job Description

For over seven decades investor-owned utilities, municipalities, cooperatives, and others have entrusted their electrical construction and maintenance needs to Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. (Elliot).

Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services.

As a Journeyman Lineman you will be performing the installation, construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead electric distribution lines. This position is managed out of Louisville, KY with work in multiple opportunities throughout KY.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license and medical card recommended
• 3 years of experience required
• 4+ years of experience recommended
• Valid driver's license required
• Own your own hand tools
• Advanced understanding of electrical distribution systems
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
