Karian Peterson, LLC is seeking a Journeyman Lineman to lead distribution and transmission line work, including new builds and in-service rebuilds. You will conduct hot work and energized maintenance, and respond to storm restoration calls across our five-state service area.

You will also supervise apprentices on live work and ensure safety practices meet MREA standards. Travel is required and lodging/per diem are provided.

Competenze

• Willingness to travel across a five-state service area, including storm call-outs.
• Able to supervise and train apprentices on live work.
• Pre-employment drug screening required.

This is the job the rest of the company is built around. You’ll run new distribution and transmission construction — greenfield builds from the survey stakes up, and rebuilds done conductor by conductor while the line stays in service — and you’ll be on the phone when the weather turns and a co-op needs crews rolling.

You’ll also be the one an apprentice is watching. We take that seriously, and so should you: the safety record here is the result of people who don’t cut corners when nobody’s looking.

What you’ll do

What we’re looking for

• Journeyman lineman certification
• A valid CDL (commercial driver’s license)
• Willingness to travel across our five-state service area, including storm call-outs
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
