Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking qualified personnel for high voltage electrical line work across multiple job sites nationwide. You will perform tasks involving inspection, modification, installation and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and facilities, with care for overhead and underground distribution structures.

A CDL Class A, clean driving record, and lineman certification or completion of lineman school are required.

Qualifications

  • Ability to travel and overnight stays as needed.
  • Demonstrate climbing techniques and safety awareness.
  • Strong organizational and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

  • Digging, guying, conductor handling/rigging, splicing, setting and framing poles, switching and energizing facilities.
  • Adhere to strict safety standards.

Job description

Primoris Services Corporation is a leading provider of critical infrastructure services to the utility, energy, and renewables markets throughout the United States and Canada.

Responsibilities
  • Perform tasks associated with high voltage electrical lines.
  • Conduct routine inspections, modification, installation and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and facilities.
  • Care and inspection of overhead and underground distribution structures, tools, gear and various equipment, construction and installation of poles and various components.
  • Digging, guying of pole structures, maintenance procedures, conductor handling/ rigging and splicing, setting and framing poles, switching and energizing various facilities.
  • Follow strict safety standards.
Requirements
  • CDL – Class A
  • Clean driving record
  • Must provide your own tools and gear. Rubber Goods are assigned by company to each individual employee.
  • Lineman certification or completion of Lineman school and any previous apprenticeship hours.
  • Travel to various job site locations is required and may warrant overnight stays for long or short periods of time.
  • Demonstrate climbing techniques and procedures
  • Strong organizational and documentation practices.
  • Highly motivated and ability to self-direct.
  • Willingness to function as part of a team.
