Job summary

Ameren Illinois is hiring for an overhead line construction and maintenance role. You will work on transmission and distribution systems, on energized lines as needed, under direct supervision with a focus on safety and reliability. A.L.B.A.T.

or equivalent lineman training is required, along with a High School diploma or equivalent and the ability to obtain a Class A CDL. This full-time position operates under the IBEW agreement, with a 25-mile residency requirement and competitive hourly pay

Qualifications

• Completion of A.L.B.A.T. or equivalent lineman training program.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of overhead line construction and maintenance on transmission, sub-transmission, distribution, or service systems.
• Work on energized and de-energized lines across all voltages as required.
• Adhere to safety and regulatory requirements during field work.
