Ameren Illinois in Illinois seeks an overhead line worker to perform construction and maintenance on transmission, sub-transmission, distribution, and service lines. You will work on energized and de-energized lines across multiple voltages, under supervision, with safety as a priority.
Applicants must have ALBAT or equivalent lineman training, a high school diploma, and a valid Class A CDL. The position is covered by IBEW and requires residency within 25 miles of the work site.

Duties:
Under direct but not constant supervision, to do a full range of overhead line construction and maintenance work on the electrical transmission, sub-transmission, distribution, or service systems; to do such work on lines either dead or energized and at all voltages; and to perform similar and less skilled work as required.
