Job summary

LPR is seeking a Journeyman Ironworker to perform structural iron and steel erection tasks at project sites across the US. Responsibilities include rigging, hoisting, and assembling steel components to blueprints, ensuring quality and timely completion.

Responsibilities emphasize field fabrication, installation of decking, stairs, and safety features, with supervision and adherence to safety protocols. Travel pay and insurance benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bolt-up structural members per blueprints and supervisor directions.
• Ability to weld 3G and 4G.
• Rig structural-steel members to hoist cables, using chains or cables.
• Hoist steel beams, girders, and columns into place with cranes.
• Detail work such as installing decking, stairs, and safety components.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, Journeyman Ironworker performs structural iron and steel erection tasks with quality and timeliness.
• Operate lifts and rigs; follow supervisor instructions for placement of members.
• Read blueprints and install steel components as directed.
