Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking a Journeyman Insulator for Capital Maintenance Projects in the Pasadena, TX area. The role covers insulation of boilers, pipes, tanks and refrigeration units to reduce heat loss and condensation.

The candidate should have about 3 years of insulation experience, knowledge of industrial piping and equipment insulation, and be able to pass a pre-employment test and background check. No per diem or relocation offered.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in insulation work (or as a trades helper progressing to journeyman).
• Knowledge of industrial piping and equipment insulation is required.
• NCCER certification is a plus but not required; ability to pass craft test.

Responsibilities

• Insulate boilers, pipes, tanks and refrigeration units with fiberglass, cork, plastic or magnesia.
• Wire and fit insulation materials around equipment and systems; ensure smooth finishes.
• Follow safety guidelines and pass pre-employment qualification tests and drug screen.
