Job summary

American National Insulation in Sumner, WA is seeking a Journeyman to apply insulation materials on customer sites and work from blueprints. You will measure, cut, and fit products, and train helpers while following safety and quality guidelines.

The role requires reading sketches, loading trucks with supplies, and performing daily safety checks. Local travel is expected; physical ability for lifting 50 lbs and climbing is required. Salary disclosed as $51.44 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for Company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• As a Journeyman, you will be responsible for practicing best insulation practices and training insulation, plaster, sealer and spray helpers.
• Install products as allowed by associated collective bargaining agreement and/or project labor agreement.
• Understand blueprints and sketches.
• Measure, shape, and cut materials to specified measurements.
• Insulate, spray, plaster, trowel, seal, cover, wrap, staple, glue and fit insulating/sealant/foam/materials.
• Review your daily work schedule and ensure truck is loaded with all product(s), tools and equipment for the day.
• Complete vehicle safety and job site inspections.
• Safely unload and stage material at job site.
• Report safety, customer or quality concerns.
• Maintain a clean work area at all times.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned per the CBAs.
