Job summary

Sure Steel, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman I to perform steel erection, fabrication, and installation. You will work on structural steel assemblies, weld components, and assist with rigging, following project plans and safety rules.

You will read blueprints and welding symbols, operate hand and power tools, and collaborate with crew members and supervisors to keep projects on schedule and within quality standards.

Qualifications

Experience with structural steel erection and fabrication.
Interpret welding symbols and shop drawings to ensure weld quality.
Commitment to safety and quality standards.
Proficiency using hand and power tools.
Ability to work collaboratively with crew.

Responsibilities

Assemble, weld, and install structural steel components per plans.
Interpret welding symbols and shop drawings to ensure weld quality.
Rigging and hoisting using cranes and rigging gear according to safety guidelines.
Inspect rigging equipment for wear and report issues.
Adhere to safety regulations and participate in safety training.
Collaborate with crew, subcontractors, and project managers.
