Job summary

Aksarben Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing, part of ARS, seeks a Journeyman Installer in Omaha, NE. The role involves installing and servicing HVAC systems, ductwork, and related components in new construction and existing homes.

Qualifications

• Journeyman license required, leadership preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of carpentry, gas piping, electricity and air flow.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints and mark locations for HVAC in new construction.
• Interface with builders, homeowners and project managers to plan installation.
• Measure and size ducts for proper airflow and request necessary fittings.
• Install venting, piping, ductwork, and HVAC units according to layout.
• Test equipment and ensure proper operation and safety.
• Provide on-the-job training to apprentices.
