Job summary

Pape’ Machinery, Inc in Portland, OR is seeking a Journeyman Service Technician to join our team. You’ll work on all makes and models of heavy diesel equipment in the field and in the shop, performing repairs with precision to maximize uptime and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing all brands of heavy diesel equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record; Class B CDL preferred.
• Must provide own tools.

Responsibilities

• Work on all makes and models of construction equipment in the field and shop, ensuring repairs are accurate and timely.
• Support customers and maximize equipment uptime through quality service.
• Tackle challenging jobs as a Journeyman technician.
• Provide clear communication with customers and team members.
