Job summary

Pape' Machinery, Inc. – Construction & Forestry in Tacoma seeks a Journeyman Field Technician / Mechanic to service equipment at customer sites, ensure peak performance and maximize uptime.

You will travel in a fully stocked service vehicle, diagnose and repair heavy diesel equipment, use your CDL B, and enjoy comprehensive benefits and ongoing training as you grow with a stable, family-owned company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of diagnosing and repairing heavy diesel equipment across brands.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Class B CDL with a good driving record.
• Must provide own tools.
• Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Service construction and forestry equipment at customer locations to maximize uptime.
• Travel in a fully loaded Pape' service vehicle.
• Diagnose, repair and maintain equipment to high standards.
• Present professional image and communicate effectively with customers.
