CEMEX is seeking a Journeyman Operator in Prescott Valley, AZ. The role involves operating heavy mobile equipment such as front end loaders, backhoes, skid steers, and haul trucks, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include daily inspections, safe operation of all site equipment, and potential work in maintenance and yard loading. Candidates must have at least 2 years of heavy equipment experience and a high school diploma or GED. Overtime and weekend flexibility required.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in operating heavy equipment.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in position or related field.
• Ability to work scheduled shift hours and be flexible with scheduling, overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles daily or pre-shift and operate safely.
• Operate all mobile and heavy-duty equipment on site (dozers, loaders, haul truck, etc.).
• Perform cleanup to keep tools, equipment, and work areas safe.
• Comply with company safety rules and regulations.
• Be versatile in maintenance/repair and yard loading when needed.
• Understand and execute verbal and written instructions.
• Schedule repairs and parts.
• Recognize hazardous situations.
• Follow OSHA rules and wear safety equipment.
• Meet or exceed safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
