Job summary

Minneapolis Glass Company seeks an experienced Glazier to install and set glass in commercial facades and storefronts. You will work from blueprints, use putty, gaskets or clips, and handle doors with hand tools or lift equipment as needed.

The role requires 3 years glazing experience and a union journey-level background, plus a High School diploma or GED. Expect a 6:00 AM–2:30 PM schedule and competitive benefits in a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years glazing experience required and as a union journey-level.
• High School degree or GED required.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs. unassisted and up to 150 lbs. assisted.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours a day with frequent lifting, carrying, kneeling, bending and stretching.
• Ability to read blueprints and accurately use a tape measure.
• Confidence in working on scaffolding, boom lifts and other cranes.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial glass using putty, rubber gaskets or metal clips.
• Set glass and doors using hand tools and scale with scaffolding or boom lifts when required.
• Follow blueprints and design layouts to ensure accurate glazing across diverse settings.
• Maintain attention to detail and contribute to continuous improvement.
