Job summary

Clark County is seeking a Facilities Electrician to install, maintain, and repair interior and exterior electrical systems for county buildings and facilities. The role requires a General Journeyman Electrical License EL01 and at least three years of journey-level experience.

Applicants must pass background checks, CJIS training, and potentially a drug test; periodic standby/emergency availability may be required. Work includes call-outs and independent as well as team tasks.

Qualifications

• General journeyman license EL01 issued by Washington state.
• Three years of paid journey-level electrical experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, install, alter, maintain and repair electrical wiring systems and lighting.
• Study blueprints and specifications to determine equipment placement and materials.
• Document work performed and maintain records per NEC/WAC.
