Job summary

TIC_Craft in Texas is seeking an experienced electrician to plan, lay out, install, test and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, motors, equipment and control systems in accordance with plans, codes and standards.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, installing conduit, testing systems, and ensuring safe operations. Candidates must be able to work with high and low voltage, follow safety rules, and perform repairs as needed. Equal opportunity employer; onsite work in Texas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong working knowledge and safe use of electrical tools.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Interprets drawings, sketches, software, plans to determine procedures and tools.
• Installs conduit, welds supports, and makes terminations.
• Tests systems for proper operation and safety.
• Observes equipment to identify hazards and needed adjustments.
• Works with high and low voltage systems.
• Disassembles and repairs electrical equipment.
• Operates hand and power tools safely.
• Estimates time, costs, and materials for work.
• Inspects work for compliance and takes corrective action.
