Generator Supercenter of Orange County, the nation’s leader in backup power solutions, is hiring a Journeyman Electrician in Irvine, CA. You will wire, install, and maintain standby generator systems, reading blueprints and ensuring code-compliant work for residential and light commercial setups.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Journeyman Electrician License or be scheduled to obtain one.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of residential or commercial electrical experience.
• Strong knowledge of the NEC and electrical code compliance.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Pull wire, bend and install conduit, and wire electrical devices and control panels.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Install electrical components for generator systems including ATS.
• Perform load testing, electrical diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
• Prepare generator sites, including trenching, piping, and mounting components.
• Conduct AC and DC electrical work for power generation systems.
• Use testing equipment safely and effectively.
• Ensure installations meet local and national codes.
• Promote safety and a positive work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
