Job summary

All Weather Contractors is seeking a Journeyman Electrician for its Power Commercial and Multi‑Family Maintenance division in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time onsite role focuses on installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining complex electrical systems across multi-family, commercial, and light industrial properties, with an emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

You will read blueprints and NEC guidelines, diagnose faults, and contribute to accurate estimates and timely service responses.

Qualifications

• Must have journeyman license or be eligible to obtain it in Florida
• Valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma or GED
• 3–5 years of hands-on electrical experience in multi-family or commercial environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills and NEC knowledge

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems across multi-family and commercial sites
• Respond to service calls and work orders to diagnose issues and perform maintenance
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, layouts, and schematics
• Diagnose and repair faults in wiring, circuits, breakers, lighting, and low‑voltage systems
• Use hand tools, testers, voltmeters, and diagnostic equipment for safe electrical work

The Opportunity

You will serve as a key technical expert within our Property Maintenance Division, delivering high-quality electrical solutions to multi-family and commercial properties. This role empowers you to troubleshoot, install, and maintain complex electrical systems while directly impacting operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. How You Will Make An Impact

• Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems across multi-family and commercial sites in compliance with safety standards.
• Respond to service calls and work orders to diagnose complex electrical issues and execute preventative maintenance.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, layouts, and schematics to execute accurate repairs and installations.
• Diagnose and repair faults in electrical components, including wiring, circuits, breakers, lighting systems, and low-voltage systems.
• Utilize hand tools, testing instruments, voltmeters, and diagnostic equipment to perform safe, efficient electrical tasks.
• Prepare accurate bids and estimates for electrical work orders to support project planning and client satisfaction.
• Ensure all electrical work strictly complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines and local building regulations.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Valid Journeyman Electrician License (Florida licensure preferred).
• Valid Driver's License.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on electrical experience in multi-family or commercial environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in electrical troubleshooting, NEC requirements, and reading complex blueprints.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Hands-on experience installing and maintaining low-voltage electrical systems.
• Familiarity with logic controllers and advanced diagnostic tools for complex electrical environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel, for estimating and work order preparation.
