Requirements And Description

We are seeking a skilled Lead Journeyman Electrician to join our team at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood location. The ideal candidate shall have a minimum of three (3) years experience. They must also display mechanical and electrical aptitude and strong skills with industrial control devices. Responsibilities include maintenance and repair of electrical, mechanical, and control devices, equipment, and components associated with the baggage handling system, including controls, PLCs, scanner systems, etc.

The Lead Journeyman Electrician shall be competent in operating and maintaining all equipment and systems specified in this scope of work. They should possess excellent leadership, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, and be fluent in English.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintenance and repair of all electrical, mechanical, and control devices, equipment, and components associated with the airport conveyor system.
• Operation and maintenance of all equipment and systems specified in this scope of work.
• Maintenance services from the main equipment disconnect to the end device.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a related field.
• Strong skills and experience with industrial control devices.
• Attention to detail for precise measurements.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Must have a current Journeyman Electrician certification.

Standard qualifications:

• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Possess a Government ID and social security card.
• Able to obtain and maintain an airport security badge.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to work in extreme conditions and small spaces.
• Security clearances after background checks.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
• Fluent in English.
