Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Electrician for on-site work in Beltsville, MD. This contract-to-hire role involves assisting in electrical installations for new construction and mixed-use projects, under the supervision of a foreman or site supervisor.

The ideal candidate will have a journeyman license and hands-on experience with wiring, conduit, lighting, and panels for commercial/industrial clients, with additional skills in motor control or fire alarm a plus.

Qualifications

• Active journeyman license required.
• Experience running pipe, pulling wire and bending conduit.
• Proficiency in lighting, receptacles and power systems for commercial/industrial clients.
• Experience installing and repairing electrical panels.
• Motor control experience is a plus.
• Ability to interact with other trades and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in electrical installations for new construction and mixed-use projects.
• Work under supervision of foreman or site supervisor.
• Pull wires and bend conduit.
• Set up electrical equipment efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with MD and National electrical codes.
