Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Chester, VA seeks a Journeyman Electrician to join our client’s engineering team, supporting electrical systems through inspection, repair, preventive maintenance, and safe, reliable service. The role requires a Journeyman license, 5–7 years of electrical experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and basic computer skills (MS Office).

Responsibilities

Oversee operation, repair, and maintenance of electrical and lighting systems, including new equipment installations.
Inspect, check, repair, and replace electrical components (wiring, controls, motors, switches, etc.).
Maintain equipment in safe operating condition and support safe work practices on site.
Review maintenance records to create proactive inspection and preventive maintenance schedules.
Utilize standard procedures and technical judgment to solve problems and deliver reliable service.
