The role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and the ability to work independently or with teams in a fast-paced environment. You will read blueprints, interpret schematics, and ensure code compliance while mentoring apprentices and collaborating with project teams.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician Certification or State License preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Journeyman in commercial, industrial, or electrical construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve electrical issues independently.
• Proficiency in using electrical tools, hand tools, and power tools.
• Understanding of OSHA safety standards and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, and control systems per NEC and local codes.
• Read blueprints and diagrams to understand project specifications.
• Install conduit, cable trays, wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, and switches as required.
• Perform inspections, testing, and troubleshooting for safety and functionality.
• Collaborate with project teams to align with timelines and other trades.
• Lead apprentices and provide on-the-job training and mentorship.
